PRODUCT SPECIALIST – A
person in this position will become an expert on IRD products, applications,
and competitive advantages so as to help customers develop appropriate
solutions. He/she will manage all
customer related activities to include quotations, sales orders, follow
through, etc. Person will also work with
Applications Engineers on field sales inquiries, provide technical support,
develop new sales opportunities and recommend future product enhancements. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
preferred. Fluency in second language is
preferred. Prior sales engineering or marketing preferred. Some travel
required. (Position in Louisville.)
MARKETING SPECIALIST – This position is responsible for communicating IRD’s external message to support corporate sales and marketing efforts. Additional responsibilities include management of both communication related assets (photos, videos, etc.), the e-commerce site and marketing activities assigned for KEC (sister company). Must have proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Must have demonstrated ability to apply creative writing skills in a product marketing environment. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and exhibit attention to detail. Must have a positive and professional attitude. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred. (Position in Louisville.)
PANEL/CLT ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN – Person in this position will utilize production drawings and control documents to wire, assemble, test, repair and modify control panel consoles and core loss testers. Also will perform wiring and electrical installation of product electrical components (electric motors, encoders, etc.) incorporated within IRD’s product mix. Maintain work area including inventory, tools and equipment. Must cross train to other production areas. Must have 2 years experience wiring control panels for industrial machinery. Must have ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. Must have excellent dexterity and fine motor skills. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and use appropriate hand tools. Two year associate degree or equivalent work experience required. (Position in Louisville.)
