Electrical
Panel Builder with Electronic Assembly - A
person hired for this position will primarily be assembling the Lexseco Core
Loss Tester, its subassemblies and consoles for the
IRD Balancing equipment. Cross training into other equipment will also be
included. IRD seeks someone with experience in the assembly of industrial
electrical panels, equipment and/or wiring. Must have experience in point-to-point
wiring of components to panel. Two year Associates
degree in electronics or related field, preferred, will consider individuals
with 3 + years of electronic experience or electrical experience. Excellent
manual dexterity and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve helpful in this
position. Additionally necessary to be successful in this position: excellent
attitude, ability to work in a team oriented
environment. (Position in Louisville, KY)
Electronic Repair Technician – Prefer experience with troubleshooting, calibrating, and
repairing electronic instrumentation.
Person in this position will repair IRD’s balancing instruments using
production drawings and control documentation. Will cross-train into other
technical disciplines. A two year degree in electronics or equivalent work experience
is required. Soldering experience is
required. Will use multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc. Repair experience is not required,
but must have experience with electronic boards. (Position in Louisville)
Industrial Painter - Prefer experience with
HVLP gravity-fed spray paint equipment as well as sand blasting equipment.
Products to be painted require a smooth painted surface, free of defects. Body
filler may need to be applied; primer must be sanded smooth before painting.
All paint finishes must be consistent in appearance. Prefer candidate with
experience in painting of machine components and assemblies. Successful
completion of a vocational training course in Automotive Body Repair will be
considered in addition to or in lieu of work experience. Must have experience
with and multi-component finishes. Prefer experience with saws, drill presses,
forklifts and other miscellaneous power and hand tools. Requires the ability to
lift up to 80 pounds. May be asked to drive a company
vehicle to pick up parts/equipment. Can be flexible with hours, full time or part time. (Position in Louisville.)
Sales & Applications Engineer – Field
Service Technician - This person will be responsible for
learning all IRD equipment repair, calibration, testing, etc. with the intent
to perform field service and operator training at customer locations. Primarily responsible for customer service,
sales and relationship building in an assigned territory. Prefer person with 2 years of experience
relevant to repair, calibration of mechanical and electrical equipment. Must have a minimum of 2
year technical degree. Will be
required to travel extensively domestically,
international travel could occur.
Following completion of training and practical experience, the AE will
assume responsibility for support of existing IRD customers and the development
of new business. (Position based in
Louisville.)
Software Engineer (Embedded) – Person chose for this position will be responsible for the
design, development, and maintenance of software/firmware for IRD products and
Krauth Electric applications. Lesser
role will manage the IT infrastructure, including server and software programs
for both IRD and Krauth Electric shared systems. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer
Science is required with embedded technology experience. Person is required to
work at corporate office location. (Position in Louisville)
