The balancing of large rotors presents a danger to the users, the rotor, and the machine if the machine is not set up properly. It is recommended that the company opt to invest in training for their balancing engineers. Besides ensuring that your machine is properly set up, our Application Engineer will work with you step-by-step through the balancing process to ensure that your operators are properly trained and able to balance quickly and efficiently.
The LEXSECO® Core Loss Tester uses a high amperage that could pose a risk to the user. While its design reduces that risk, proper training can eliminate it. Additionally, training will ensure quick and easy core loss evaluations!
For many workshops around the world, certification is required. For others, it's a way of telling the customer that you are qualified to do the job. Whatever the reason, IRD® has you covered. For all of our devices we are able to perform yearly calibrations which comply with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). For our balancing instruments, we offer two options:
For our Core Loss Testers, we offer both in-house and on-site calibration for testers with old meters. However, for newer testers which contain an E-meter, we offer the meter exchange program, which removes all down time of the Core Loss Tester while reaching full NIST compliance. For full information about the meter exchange program, keep reading!
